This third course was a result of an overwhelming demand of applicants since the first advanced course was conducted in September last year, followed by the second course in May this year. Facilitating the course is Yasser F. Sarona, BSP’s Programme & Training Executive, supported by two overseas trainers: Dr Cyrus Wadia (India) and SK Kamrul Hasan (Bangladesh), with Thian Hiong-Boon from the Asia-Pacific Regional Office. One of BSP’s best practices in adult training is having Senior Patrol Leader & Course Scribe. For this course, Arnoel Santos and Michael O. Pantaleon were appointed to do the work respectively.

Chief Guest at the opening was Mt. Makiling Camp Manager Lee Mole who welcomed the participants to the historical site of the 10th World Scout Jamboree and encouraged participants to continue upgrading their Scouting skills and always be open to exchange of ideas.

As the course progresses, participants are revisiting the important elements of Scouting and being trained in advance leadership skills to fully equip them with the know-how of delivering appropriate programs for young Scout members.

At the beginning of the course, Rev. Father Nguyen Van Loc and Nguyen Thai Hung from the first course showed up to receive their Wood Badge beads.
