The event was held simultaneously with the launch of the "Messengers of
Peace" project, El Salvador was chosen to be the first venue of this
great project.
The Scout Association of El Salvador will push the project along with 80 scout volunteers and will benefit youth from the Salvadoran Institute for Children and Adolescents.
Some of the values of this project are: teamwork and leadership.
For Mark Knippenger, Deputy Director of the World Scout Foundation, the Project will not only show what the Scouts daily do for other people and for nature, but it will also be a challenge to provide better service to their own community.
